WSOPE Schedule Announced by Harrah

Harrah’s Entertainment is gearing up for the third annual World Series of Poker Europe and they recently announced the schedule for the tournament series. The WSOPE will begin on September 17th and will continue until October 1st.

The WSOPE will take place in London, England at the Casino at the Empire. Betfair will be presenting the tournament series and players will have the chance to win four coveted gold bracelets. Four tournaments will give away the bracelets as the top prize including new event on the schedule, the £2,500 Pot Limit Hold’em/Pot Limit Omaha mixed event.

Players can go ahead and register at the Rio All-Suites Hotel and casino in Las Vegas or any London clubs International location in the United Kingdom. Along with the four bracelet events this year’s WSOPE will include cash games as well as satellite tournaments before each event.

The WSOPE will be filmed and ten hours will air on ESPN. The ESPN360 website will feature live coverage of the events to Europe, Mexico, Brazil and the United States. Below is the full bracelet schedule for the WSOPE:

Friday, Sept. 18, 2009: Event 1 £1,000+£60 — No-limit hold'em (three-day event)
Monday, Sept. 21, 2009: Event 2 £2,500+£150 — Pot-limit hold'em/pot-limit Omaha (three-day event)
Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2009: Event 3 £5,000+£250 — Pot-limit Omaha (three-day event)
Saturday, Sept. 26, 2009: Event 4 £10,000+£350 — Main event (five-day event)
