The Third Annual Women's Poker Classic is set to begin on February 21st and continue to the 24th. The event will take place at the Cascades Casino in Langley, British Colombia. The British Columbia Lottery Corporation is behind the event and the Cascades Casino will be donating $50 per participant to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation in the British Columbia/Yukon Region. The tournament will feature over $285,000 in prize money that will distribute over three events.

On the 22nd, a $200 Limit Texas Hold'em event will take place with a prize pool of over $70,000. 360 seats are available and the top 10% will finish in the money. The next day there will be a $200 No Limit Texas Hold'em Shootout with over $39,000 in the prize pool. 200 seats are available for this event. The main event will take place on Sunday as a No Limit Texas Hold'em tournament. 360 seats are available and over $175,000 will be up for grabs.

All prize totals are standing if the events sell out. The winner of the Main Event will receive a seat to the WSOP Ladies No Limit Hold'em World Championship. Second and third place winners will receive an entry into the $500 No Limit Ladies Event at the 2008 B.C. Poker Championships.
