Castardi Could Get Twenty Four Years for Running Gambling Club
Jeff Castardi plead guilty this past Monday to felony charges that were filed against him. Castardi was charged with violating the Colorado Organized Crime Control Act as he was running a gambling club under the premise of a social club.
The charges against Castardi are a class two felony and he could face anywhere from eight to twenty four years in prison. Castardi is scheduled to be sentenced in December. Castardi had around 100 high rollers coming and going from the club and losing tens of thousands of dollars in Texas Hold’em
Games on just one hand. The money was laundered through the two restaurants that were owned and operated by Castardi and his wife.

Attorney General commented: "Castardi and his co-defendants were suspected of violating numerous provisions of state law, including running an illegal professional gambling and bookmaking business, loan-sharking, money laundering, tax evasion, theft and unlawful debt collection.”
One co-defendant is Dawn Wolf, Castardi’s wife. She has been indicted on multiple felonies including organized crime. Other associates of the couple have been indicted as well.
