Criticism Continuing towards Deval Bill

Continuing to make mainstream headlines all across the United States is governor of Massachusetts, Patrick Deval, with his attempts in having online gambling banned, right along with promoting land gambling expansion for the Bay area.

The daily Boston Magazine has stated they are still trying to figure out "...what the hell the governor was thinking."

Also included in the Magazine, "Making it legal to play poker in buildings while making it illegal to play poker on computer screens, is beyond hypocritical, it just sounds stupid."

Frank Hynes, a Democrat Representative was questioned on the proposal of the Internet gaming ban, as well as the high penalties that Deval would like to impose. Hynes, making it clear it was much too early to decide what his final vote would be, Hynes stated "I mean, why do that?" he said. "It doesn't make a whole of sense to expand gambling and then say online gambling should be shut down."

Hynes main argument being that coming from the side of a gaming skeptic, while making the effort in studying both sides, the lack of thought or even analysis looks to have gone into the online gambling clause, being buried deep in the legislation.
