Saturday night an illegal poker den was raided by local police due to an inside source.  The current occupant of the residence, Jose Luis Esquivel, assistant principal at a local elementary school, was housing a mini-casino. Mission Police Lt. Martin Garza said that investigators discovered 40-50 people gambling. One woman was caught with over $4000 dollars hidden in her bra.

"It makes it illegal when the house takes money and receives money at the entrance and makes money at the end of the night," Garza said.

Quite a few witnesses, or rather a few of the gambler, informed the detectives that the entrance fee ranged around $20 to $40 dollars, and the occasional $150.

"Right now, we're looking at bringing charges to the people that are actually responsible for promoting this type of illegal activity," Garza said.

These witnesses may or may not confront with charges. Unfortunately for the owners of the residence and two more unlucky accessories, they will be charged with criminal standings.
