The Danish Have Freddy Blak To Fight For Online Gambling
This Danish citizen was a Member of Danish Parliament and has decided to take action against the Danish gambling monopoly and their online gambling operation named Danske Spil. Blak decided his course of action to change this online monopoly was by taking his complaint in front of the European Court of Justice.
He feels the Danish Gambling Authority, the entity who monitors Denske Spil, has actively deprived European online gambling operators with their monopoly. He also points to the double standards of the Danish government for their stance on problem gambling and at the same time marketing Danske Spil, which is operated under their supervision.
On of Blak's reasons in going to the European Court of Justice is because of not only the monopoly but also the long and ongoing talks about Danske Spil that has been ongoing for nearly four years. There has been no change in that amount of time with the online monopoly they hold, while keeping other online operators out of their market.
