Nov 3, 2009
Author: Sadonna Price

The November Nine is set to begin in just four days and pros who did not make the final nine are giving their support to certain players who did make the final cut. Legend in poker and no stranger to the final table, Doyle Brunson, commented that he will be supporting Darvin Moon.

In his latest blog, Brunson commented that he thought he would be supporting Phil Ivey or Jeff Shulman but because Daniel Negreanu is taking Ivey on a must-win bet, Doyle has placed his support to Darvin Moon.

Moon is the chip leader of the final nine but he is also an amateur player. Doyle commented in his blog: “I had to take Moon who has five times the chips of Ivey. Sorry Phil, I won’t be rooting for you now. Business is business.”

Hopefully Moon will be able to maintain his chip lead and take the win. if he does it will be a true underdog story for this year’s World Series of Poker Final table.
