Dwan Gains Lead Back in Poker Challenge

Mar 25, 2009
Author: Sadonna Price

It has been a few months since Tom Dwan announced his Durrrr Challenge and it has really gotten into full swing. Tom Dwan and Patrick Antonius, just one of the poker pros who accepted the challenge, have played a few sessions. In the most recent session, Dwan regained his lead in the poker battle.

Antonius was in the lead but as of now Dwan is leading with just over $67,000. The pair has only played 6,633 hands which are far from the 50,000 of the challenge so Antonius could easily regain his lead or at least tie up in the next session.

It has been just five weeks of the two competing and over twenty hours have been spent playing against each other. It seems as though it is going to be some time before the 50,000 hands will be played. But with three sessions already taken place this week, we may see a long string of online sessions between the two poker pros, which will put them closer to the 50,000 hand mark.
