Online poker rooms have been steadily offering satellites and various tournaments for their players to win seats to the 2009 World Series of Poker. Several packages are up for grabs at many different online poker rooms for many different events at this year’s WSOP. Ladbrokes recently gave away eight packages to the WSOP.

Ladbrokes held a promotion called Vegas Dream where players competed for a chance to win a trip to participate in the WSOP. Two hundred people competed in the $25,000 Added Vegas Dream Satellite and eight players will soon be on their way to Vegas.

Ladbrokes website put it best when they said that players who win the packages will “be part of the world's biggest poker event, play poker in some of the world's most famous card rooms, enjoy the Vegas nightlife in true Ladbrokes style and hopefully deliver a European winner for a second consecutive year".

Ladbrokes saw twelve of their online qualifiers finish in the money at last year’s WSOP out of the one hundred and twenty they sent to compete. And who knows we may see the next champion come from qualifying at Ladbrokes
