Hellmuth to compete in PartyPoker Premier League

The PartyPoker Premier League IV is set to begin in Las Vegas on February 12th and continue until the 18th with many poker superstars competing. Phil Hellmuth recently confirmed that he will be one of the top poker pros competing in the event.

Hellmuth will be playing alongside JC Tran and Yevgeniy Timoshenko on the television show. Hellmuth stated: “I am looking forward to playing in the Premier League and starting the new decade off on the right note! After being points leader in the Premier League in 2006, 2007 and 2008 I was relegated, and it is time to step up and claim a title!”

This time around the Party Poker Premier League will see an online qualifier competing as well. Live qualifiers will be taking place in Vegas for poker players to get their chance to compete on the show. One of the sixteen potential qualifiers will be able to earn a $100,000 sponsorship contract from PartyPoker in the process.
