Online Poker Room Crowns Top Canadian Player

Titan Poker held its Top Canadian Titan tournament last Sunday, crowning online poker player James Glavin, of Nova Scotia, Canada, the winner. Glavin has been playing at Titan Poker, the iPoker Network's largest online poker room, for more than a year, besting out 28 other online poker leaders to claim the title, Top Canadian Titan.

The Top Canadian Titan tournament was a six-month long promotional event at Titan Poker, awarding a first place prize of $500 cash to the online poker room's top player from Canada.

"Titan Poker is a great site with a lot of great guaranteed tournaments," Glavin commented after being awarded the title of Top Canadian Titan. Glavin claimed that playing online poker is only a hobby for him; enjoying cash game and tournament play equally.

Titan Poker will be holding more tournaments aimed directly at Canadian players, in which James Glavin will be responsible for defending his new title.

The online poker room hosts many popular tournaments, including the recently held Tournament Titan, a Freeroll competition with a $1-million guaranteed prize pool, open only to the top 20 skilled players at Titan Poker. A $2-million guaranteed tournament is scheduled for March 2, 2008, as Titan Poker is boasting collective guaranteed prize pools in excess of $10,000,000 each month.
