PartyPoker Italy Adds Francesco Totti to Poker Team

PartyPoker’s Italian poker site has added a new player as an ambassador for their site. Italian striker Francesco Totti is the newest ambassador to represent the Italian portion of the online poker room. Totti was born in Rome and he has played soccer for many years.

Totti has been on the Italian national team since 2000 and he was part of the Italian squad when they beat France in the World Cup in 2006. The soccer start will now be able to be seen at the online poker tables at Party Poker.

Totti commented: “I have faced many challenges in my career and I always apply myself with skill, intelligence, loyalty and passion. You need all these abilities for poker and it is also a game that excites me and is a lot of fun. Thanks to Party Poker Italy, I am able to combine my passion for sport and the challenge of poker.”

“We expect Totti to become the most capped player and number one goal scorer in our history,” said a PartyPoker Italy spokesman. “He is one of the greatest football players of his generation - the question is now will he be one of the greatest poker players of his generation too? What Totti strives for he normally succeeds in achieving! He is a huge signing.”
