PartyPoker Premier League III Fills Two More Seats
Professional poker players have been signing up to participate in the PartyPoker Premier League III. Already included in the lineup are Roland De Wolfe, Andy Black, Annette Obrestad, Juha Helppi, J.C. Tran, Victoria Coren and Nenad Medic. Now two more top players have signed up to play in the League.
Tony G. and Dave “Devilfish” Ulliot will be joining the list of players participating in the Premier League III. Both players are known for their rival against each other and antics at the poker table. Ulliot stated: “I’m looking forward to the Premier League and am determined to take it down. Tony G has as much chance of beating me as winning Strictly Come Dancing.”
Tony G responded: “I have been itching to play and finally win the Premier League-it is the event I look forward to the most. It goes without saying, but I am really, really looking forward to crushing the Devilfish.”
Those playing in the Premier League III will have to post the $75,000 buy-in which is higher from the previous Leagues. An additional $350,000 will be added to the prize pool to push it up to total $1.25 million.
Play will remain the same as the twelve players play in a unique league format. All players will compete six times in the preliminary round and then the top four players will move on to the final table. The next four behind the top four will be able to compete for the last two seats at the final table.
