PokerStars Adds Jason Alexander to Poker Team

Actor Jason Alexander, better known as George Costanza from televisions Seinfeld, has just signed to join Team PokerStars. Jason will be added to the long list of names that play online at PokerStars and represent the poker room at live events.

PokerStars has stated that Jason will be appearing at the 2009 World Series of Poker as well as the international poker circuit, all the while representing the online poker room. Jason will also be playing online at PokerStars under the screen name ‘J.Alexander’.

Jason has been around in the poker world for some time. He most recently played in the NBC Heads Up Championship in 2008 and was a regular on the Celebrity Poker Showdown television. Jason commented on signing with PokerStars:

I am very flattered and happy to be playing for a real quality site and with the kind of professionals that remind me every day how truly mediocre I am at this game. But I'm learning and now I can learn from some of the best.”
