PokerStars Lifts Ban on Poker Player
Justin “ZeeJustin” Bonomo used to be a familiar face at PokerStars, the giant online poker room. Three years ago Bonomo was banned by PokerStars for multi-accounting while competing in online poker tournaments. Bonomo has worked hard to show that he has changed his ways and apparently it has paid off as PokerStars has allowed Bonomo to play at their site again.
PartyPoker first released information that Bonomo was multi-accounting when he was playing on their website. It was found that Bonomo had competed in an online tournament at PartyPoker while using six individual accounts. After the information was released, PokerStars announced that Bonomo had done something similar at their website and he was banned.
Over the past three years, Bonomo has tried to show that he has changed and has tried hard to change the new image he gained after being found guilty of cheating. Bonomo has place well in several live tournaments over the past few years including cash outs in WSOP events. He even signed on with Bodog to be a sponsored poker pro.
Currently the ban has been lifted at PokerStars and Bonomo has registered for SCOOP. Not everyone agrees with PokerStars decision to let Bonomo back on the poker room. Feelings seem to be mixed but the majority of poker players believe that PokerStars made the right decision as Bonomo has shown he has changed his ways.
