Tom Dwan has a very up and down year in 2009 as he has seen big losses and big wins. But this past week has probably been his worst week of the year. In just one week Dwan has managed to lose over $1 million on two different occasions. Dwan has lost over $2 million in just this one week alone.

Just a few days ago Dwan lost over $1 million at the Full Tilt Poker players against Phil Ivey and Ilari Sahamies and then this past Monday night Dwan decides to sit down again with the same poker pros, not a very good decision.

Dwan began Monday night at the $500/$1,000 Pot Limit Omaha private tables with Sahamies and right when the two started a $160k and a several $300k pots were on the table. After two hours of play Sahamies had earned over $626k of Dwan’s money.

Dwan then moved on to play against Ivey and lost $200k in just thirty five hands. Dwan then lost another $475k at the mixed tables which brought his nightly losses to $1.3 million. By the end of the night Ivey had earned the largest profit, $586k and Sahamies was close behind with $463k.
