Vanessa Rousso Wins PCA Ladies Event

PokerStars Caribbean Adventure has finished up and the event series in the Bahamas was very successful. One of the many events taking place during the PCA was the ladies event. it was Team PokerStars Pro Vanessa Rousso who was able to outlast the field of women to win the top prize.

Rousso has an avid Twitter account and those who follow her on the social networking site were able to keep up with her progress during the $1k ladies event. Rousso tweeted that she was the chip leader going into final table play and she remained the leader when only five ladies were left competing.

She also tweeted when she made it to heads up play but she only had a small chip lead. Rousso would prevail though and claim the first place win which was worth $25,000. Now Rousso has moved on to compete in the World Cup of Poker. this event is to be televised on ESPN so fans of Vanessa or poker in general will be able to watch as the poker pros show their skills in the game.
