Will Pamela Andersen Appear At Aussie Million Poker Championship?
Pamela Anderson and current husband, Rick Salomon, are headed to the land down under, where Salomon is said to be a definite started in the 2008 Aussie Millions Poker Championship tournament. According to reports from the Herald Sun, Andersen is in the process of negotiating a fee for her appearance at the major poker event.
The Crown Casino in Melbourne, Australia, host of the upcoming Aussie Millions, received a phone call recently from the couple, requesting reservations at the hotel during the poker tournament, set to kick off January 14th.
A multitude of stars are expected to turn out for the prestigious poker event, both local and from abroad. Among the celebrity list are Jennifer Tilly, Shannon Elizabeth, Michael Vartan, Shane Warne, Joe Hachem and Mark Philippoussis. Each will be handing over 10-grand to take a shot at the Aussie Millions guaranteed 10-million dollar prize pool.
Rick Salomon, Pamela's third husband, is perhaps best remembered for his infamous sex-tape with Hollywood temptress, Paris Hilton. Salomon is also the ex-husband of former Beverly Hills 90210 star, Shannen Doherty. According to Andersen, her 17-year relationship with Rick to a decisive turn during a game of poker.
On a side note, let's hope Shannon Elizabeth remembers to bring her identification this time. Last year, the star of American Pie was denied entrance to the 2007 Victoria Poker Championship in Australian because she did not have an ID to prove her age. Apparently being the star of an international hit movie was not enough to provide recognition to the security guards of the casino.
