World Record Broke by Paul Zimbler
On September 24th Paul Zimbler broke the continuous heads up poker world record by setting a new time of seventy four hours, twenty minutes and twenty one seconds of consecutive play. Even though Zimbler broke the record it was very tiring for him and he had to be carried away from his seat.
To achieve the new world record Zimbler tested his body and mind which both took a toll when the challenge was completed. Along with the record breaking attempt Zimbler was aiming to raise money for the Make a Wish Foundation. At the end of the challenge Zimbler had raised over £35,000.
In the end Zimbler was winner with 102 wins and 81 losses by the end of the challenge. Zimbler played against several pros during his challenge including Doyle Brunson and Mike Matusow. It was Matusow that Zimbler faced when his challenge was over.
The attempt was definitely an amazing feat and participants of the WSOPE or fans in the vicinity were able to watch Zimbler as he made his attempt at the world record books. Zimbler was able to withstand the many challenges of this attempt to set a new record that he can be proud of.
