Absolute Poker Announces Easier Deal Making Process
Absolute Poker has announced a new feature that will be available at the final table that promises to expedite the deal making progress at certain online poker games.
"We're making it easier for players to facilitate deals so that everyone can walk away from a big tournament with a healthy win," stated David Clainer, Senior Vice President for Absolute Poker.
Their goal is to make the deal making process easier and faster so that everyone can walk away from a big tournament with a healthy win. The new Deal Making button will automatically appear once a game reached the final table. The deal making process will begin once all the remaining poker players agree to make a deal.
Once all the players left at the final table agree to make a deal the game will be paused and the tournament manager will join the chat to monitor the players as a deal is discussed and the manager will also provide helpful information on chip equity if needed. If players come to an agreement the pot will then be divided according to the agreed terms.
If there isn't an agreement made then the game will continue. The reason for the Deal Making Button is that Clainer noted that by the time a poker tournament reached the final table it often turns into a coin toss as players go all in for a shot at winning a large pot. Deal Making enables player to split the pot and avoid leaving a big win or loss to chance.
