Absolute Poker Awards Bad Beat Jackpot

Absolute Poker awarded the largest Bad Beat Jackpot in online poker history this weekend.  Several players got a very nice unexpected bonus when the jackpot was triggered. 

The player that got the bad beat was RIVERMAN1969 when his four 10's lost to BFOXY four queens.  In order to get the bad beat jackpot a player has to be holding four 8's or better and sill loses the hand while sitting at a "Bad Beat Jackpot" table.

RIVERMAN1969 got the most out of the $651,899 bad beat jackpot since he was the player with the bad beat.  He may have lost the hand but $325,212.40 dollars must have softened the loss.  BFOXY won the hand and another $163,343.67 for being in the hand.

The other 88 online players got to split the remaining $163,343.67 dollars, including the players that were sitting at the table where the bad beat happened and those that seated at the Bad Beat Jackpot tables at Absolute Poker that have the same stakes and game style.
