Absolute Poker Running Satellites for Sports Legends Challenge

The Sports Legends Challenge is set to take place in the Bahamas this September and to get ready for their tournament, online poker room Absolute Poker, has started running satellites for the event. Players from Absolute Poker will be able to rub elbows with sports stars and poker pros as they compete for the top prize.

The Challenge will take place from September 14th to the 17th at the Atlantis Paradise Island resort and hotel. The tournament will feature such poker pros as Phil Hellmuth, Chris Moneymaker and Annie Duke as well as sports stars Troy Aikman, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Sugar Ray Leonard and many more.

Nightly qualifiers are taking place at Absolute Poker currently with a buy-in of $215 and begin at 10:45 in the evening on Wednesdays through Sundays. The satellites will continue until September 6th. Each satellite will give a minimum of one luxury prize package. The prize package will include the entry into the event as well as other amenities.
