Betfair Poker Launches Russian Poker Community

Russia has become a new provider of online poker pros so it is online natural that online poker rooms create Russian speaking options. Betfair Poker is one of those online poker rooms that are doing just that. Betfair recently announced that they have launched a Russian poker community on their website.

The new option was opened this past Wednesday and will provide Russian speaking poker players the ability to view information that was only available in a few languages, English, Spanish, Italian and German.

Many online poker rooms have added Russian poker pros to their Poker Teams but Betfair has yet to do so though it should not be long before they do as fresh talent is always available.

The Head of Poker for Betfair, Bruce Stubbs commented: "The Russian market is a fascinating one and one that continues to produce very talented individuals. We saw a very strong showing from this region at this year's WSOP Europe event which we currently sponsor. We hope that the new Russian client shows our commitment to developing and producing new offerings and hope to announce more in the coming year."
