Doyles Room Confirms Move to Cake Poker; Plans Launch Party
Doyles Room has confirmed today in a press release that they have moved to the Cake Poker Network. In the same press release, the poker room also stated that they will be holding a $5,000 Launch Party Free Roll this Saturday to celebrate the move.
Doyles Room started out on the Tribeca Network and then after the UIGEA was passed they moved to the Microgaming Network. Once Microgaming decided to stop accepting United States players, Doyles Room had to deny any player from the US who wanted to join. Now that they have joined the Cake Poker Network United States players will be accepted once more.
The Free Roll Launch Party is scheduled for Saturday January 31st at 5pm ET. The next day Doyles Rom will be hosting a $100,000 Guaranteed No Limit Texas Hold’em tournament with a reduced fee buy-in of $150 plus $12. This tournament will begin at 5pm.
It would not be surprising if many thousands sign up to participate in the free roll and the $100,000 guaranteed now that the poker room is available again to United States players. Poker players respect and admire Doyle Brunson, the face behind Doyles Room, and they want to play where the best are involved.
