PKR to Host First Live Event

PKR has seen great success in the past weeks and they continue to move forward. The online poker site recently announced that they would host their first ever live event this November in London. Players will have three days to play poker the PKR way.

The live poker festival will be called PKR Live and will take place November 14th through the 16th. The Loose Cannon Club in London will be where the action will take place. Almost $100,000 in total prize pools will be available for the events.

The first day will include a $60 Freezout while the second day will begin a two day $500 main event. A $10,000 Bounty freeroll will take place on the final day. The festival will also have cash games and sit and gos taking place throughout the event.

For their online players, PKR will have weekly finals every Monday and Thursday where online players can win packages to attend the festival. As many as 150 players can win a $1,000 package which includes: the buy-in for all of the tournaments during the festival, money for travel and accommodations.

Online players can qualify in satellites for a buy-in as low as $2.38 and work their way up to the finals. There will also be a $25 special festival where one in forty players will win a seat to the live event.
