Pokerari Sending Players to WSOP Side Events
Pokerari is one of the newer poker rooms and they are going to be the first ever cardroom to offer online qualifier tournaments to the World Series of Poker 2008 Side Events 49-53.
The spokesman for Pokerari, Toby Clarke says that even though the WSOP Main Event qualifiers have gained huge amounts of popularity over the last few years, the odds aren't that great at winning one of the $12,000 prize packages.
So Pokerari is going to start offering online qualifiers for the WSOP events; 49, 51, 52 and 53. These side events have a buy in that is almost ten times smaller then that of the main event, $1,500 for these side events compared to $10,000 for the Main Event.
So Clarke says that this will give players better odds at winning the package even if they enter the lowest satellite with only a $1.10 buyin or play in one the two weekly freeroll type satellites.
Pokerari hasn't even been in business for a year yet but they are gaining popularity fast with players and this new promotion will help further their growth as players compete to win one of the prize packages. So far they are planning to send at least three players but they could add more.
