Team PKR Adds New Player

Team PKR has added a new player to their brand new poker team. The team already has six players and now a seventh has been added. Karl “discomonkey” Fenton is the recent addition to Team PKR. Fenton is well known in the PKR community and is the PKR Live II main event winner.

Fenton has gained a career in just a few months. He began playing at small stakes tables to now play in high stakes tournaments. Fenton was working on a degree in finance but decided to take a leave from school to try and make it as a poker player full time.

Fenton won a PKR Sunday Classic in 2008 and since then he has won more than $200,000 in online tournaments. He also competed in the GUKPT Walsall side event making the final table as well as making two final tables at PKR Live II. He went on to win the Main Event of the PKR Live II, so he has done very well in recent live events.

Fenton is known in Vegas competing in the WSOP while representing PKR. It will be interesting to see how well Fenton fares at the WSOP as we could be seeing a new star in the making.
