Team Pokerstars Adds New Players To The Lineup

The worlds largest online poker site announced on Tuesday that they are adding four new players to their Team PokerStars. American Hevad Khan, Italian Dario Minieri, South African Raymond Rahme, and Canadian Tuan Lam are the four standout players who will be joining Team PokerStars. Khan, Rahme and Lam earned over $8.9 million collectively in the Main Event No Limit Texas hold'em World Championship and finishing in the top two percent. Minieri finished in the top 100 in the tournament and has earned over $300,000 in live tournament play.

Raymond Rahme is the first player from the African continent to reach a main event final table and to place third in the 2007 WSOP Main Event. Amazingly he only began to play Texas hold'em two years ago.Tuan Lam is from Ontario and has been playing poker for seventeen years. Lam used to be card dealer but decided to try his luck at playing. He finished runner up in the 2007 WSOP and won $4.8 million. Dario Minieri and Hevad Khan both 22, are the youngest players ever to join PokerStars.com. Khan finished in 6thplace in the 2007 WSOP and took home a payday right under $1 million. Minieri started out playing on PokerStars.com and is known to play 9 tournaments at the same time for several hours per day.
