Which USA Poker Sites Are Still Around?

With the three largest USA poker sites out of commission (at least for the time being), American players have been scrambling to figure out where they can still play online poker. If Full Tilt Poker, PokerStars and Absolute Poker aren’t options anymore, where can Americans play?

Luckily, there are plenty of good sites still around for USA players who want to continue playing online poker. These sites have apparently flown under the radar of the Department of Justice, meaning that they can still accept play from Americans.

First, one name that many Americans will be familiar with is still around: Bodog Poker. If you’re from the United States, you might remember that a few years back, Bodog was everywhere – advertising at sporting events, on television, and in magazines. They’ve since become less visible in the USA market, but they’re still actively accepting American players in their poker room, casino and sportsbook.

Another popular option for Americans looking to continue playing online poker is the Merge Gaming Network. There are a large number of sites on the network that are open to Americans, including a few that have sterling reputations. Some of the top rooms on the network include Lock Poker and Carbon Poker, which is the largest room on the Merge Network.

USA poker players have also turned to the Cake Network in large numbers. This group of sites (led by flagship site Cake Poker) has traditionally been known for loose play and unique promotions, and has seen a big increase in traffic ever since the Black Friday shutdown. One site in particular that has attracted many Americans is Intertops.com, which has been in business for a decade now, but only recently moved to the Cake Network.

In summary, there are still plenty of places for Americans to choose from when it comes to playing online poker. While there’s no guarantee that the US government won’t eventually look their way as well, their low profiles and lack of advertisement in the United States makes it seem unlikely that they’ll become targets of government action anytime soon.
