Electronic Arts to Create Poker for Dummies Video Game

There are many different kinds of instructional books that can teach people how to do a number of things from designing a room to building a computer. One of the most popular types of instructional books is the For Dummies series. The For Dummies books are created for people who know nothing about a subject. For example, there is a Computer for Dummies book where people can learn how to use a computer.

The creators of the For Dummies books have partnered with Electronic Arts to create a video game for poker novices. The first game in the series is called Poker for Dummies and will feature Texas Hold’em. The game will teach PC gamers the game of poker starting with how to play then moving on to table etiquette and then advanced poker strategies.

The game will have tutorials, quizzes and a practice mode. The game will also have several variations of poker available for users to experience including: Omaha style poker, Seven Card Stud and Texas Hold’em.

The game only costs $20 and is rated T for Teen, which means an even younger generation of players may soon be hitting the online tables with enough knowledge to take the pros for a good bit of money.
