Amanda Leatherman Joins Live Updates

The World Poker Tour has announced a new face will be joining thier Live Updates team.  The new addition to the team is Amanda Leatherman.  The tour is going to kick off on July 11th and Leatherman will be bringing viewers up to date reports from the poker tables.

As the new hostess of the WPT Season VII Live Updates she will conduct interviews of the players, blog, make video reports and give behind the scenes insight into the poker world.

“Amanda is a great addition to the WPT Live Updates team,” said Joseph Grimm, WPT executive producer. “She is extremely knowledgeable about the game, the players and the world of high stakes tournament poker. We are excited and very lucky to have her on board.”

Amanda Leatherman is also a poker player so she will be quite comfortable in her new position as she knows the game and many of the famous faces already.  “I’m a poker player and have been for quite a while now, so I am very comfortable talking about hands and strategies,” Leatherman said. “Plus I know a lot of the regulars on tour and it’ll be a lot of fun to talk with them on the webcam.”
