Canadian Company to Launch Online Poker TV Network
HeadsUp Entertainment International Inc is the owner and operator of the Canadian Poker Player Magazine as well as the Canadian Poker Tour. The company recently announced they will soon be launching their own internet television network. The network will be called Canadian Poker Player TV and will be launched after the company has completed a series of negotiations with sponsors.
The new internet television network is set to begin airing in the fourth quarter of 2009 and will feature coverage of major Canadian poker events. The network will also feature documentary productions from behind the scenes of the Canadian Poker Tour.
President of the Company, Kelly B. Kellner commented: “This is a tremendous opportunity for the Company to re-monetize investments we have made in television over the past four years and deliver an all encompassing media delivery package to our sponsors. Players and fans will have an innovative and effective means to pursue their interest in the sport and we couldn’t be more excited.”
