Devilfish to Star in Poker Television Series

Nowadays it seems that poker players are given more opportunities than in the past. New players can find themselves signed by major poker websites to play on their poker teams and older players have more opportunities to show their knowledge now more than ever.

Players earn a great deal for their bankroll by playing in major online events and gain huge exposure. Older players can now earn more money by being sponsored by online websites or casinos or through other venues of entertainment.

Dave Ulliott or better known as Devilfish online is one player who has been given a unique opportunity. Dave is not so new to the poker world but has recently been winning several tournaments both land and online. Dave has won both a World Series of Poker bracelet and a World Poker Tour title.

Devilfish will now have his own television on ITV Wales called How to Become a Poker Millionaire. The show will feature Dave advising people who have not had success at the card table. Four poker players who are considered “continual losers” will be given a month long crash course in the game of poker, by Dave. Each show will be thirty minutes long with five episodes featuring the players.

The show will debut on September 4th at 22:35 BST and viewers will be able to pick up tips as the show progresses. Of the participants Dave says: “Poker players won’t have seen anything like this before. It was a real boot camp for the participants and I took no prisoners.”

Dave Ulliott has his own website called, Devilfish Poker and just last week Ulliot beat members to win a bounty tournament. It seems as though Ulliot’s career has really taken off and can only rise from here.
