ESPN Begins Airing WSOP 2007
This year ESPN is airing the shows sooner than normal, as they are already showing new episodes from the preliminary events. Although you can still watch the reruns from 2004 until 2006, the new tournament coverage is amazing. The 2007 WSOP will be aired on Tuesday nights; times vary by location so look it up with your local provider. This year the World Series of Poker was intense, and ESPN did a great job catching many of the highlights.

ESPN has been attributed with assisting in the rise of pokers popularity by airing the World Series of Poker every year. This competitive game is receiving the recognition as a mainstream event since the first airing of the WSOP on ESPN. Many other poker tournaments in made for air style have since shown up across the various networks. ESPN is still paving the way.
