Eastern Europe Gains Poker Channel

It was recently announced that Vectra Group a cable operator in Poland and the Poker Channel have teamed up. The new partnership will see Eastern Europe gain the Poker Channel as the game has become increasingly popular in the region.

Vectra subscribers can now view a promotional campaign that was created by the two companies to promote the new channel. This is the first time the Poker Channel will be in the Eastern Europe region. Now that the partnership has been formed, the Poker Channel is available in seventeen European markets and in sixteen million homes.

The Vectra Group Television product manager, Malgorzata Wojtaszko commented: "As the game's popularity continues to grow, we're delighted to be the first platform in Poland to launch the Poker Channel and offer subscribers of our new sports package the very best poker action from around the world."

One of the first to air on the Channel in Poland will be the Pokerheaven European Cash Game. This game is a high stakes competition which will feature famous poker pros.
