Game Show Network Announces High Stakes Poker Lineup

The Game Show Network has announced the new lineup of poker players that will be competing on the highly popular television show High Stakes Poker. The show will be in its fifth season and will kick off with some amazing new talent as well as old faces.

Peter Eastgate and Ivan Demidov will be making their first appearance on the show after gaining recognition for their performance at this year’s WSOP Main Event. Other players scheduled to participate are Phil Hellmuth, Doyle Brunson, Patrik Antonius, Michael Baxter, David Benyamine, Nick Cassavetes, Tom Dwan, Eli Elezra, Antonio Esfandiari, Barry Greenstein, Phil Ivey, Phil Laak, Howard Lederer, Giorgio Medici, Dario Minieri, Daniel Negreanu, Ilari Sahamies, Bob Safai and Sam Simon.

Producers of the show have commented that the show has become a “must see” for poker fans and players. The new season will have a new increased buy-in of $200,000 and will be filmed at the Golden Nugget casino on December 19th through the 21st.
