Poker After Dark International Week Began Last Night
NBC’s popular poker series, Poker After Dark, is featuring an international flare this week as six countries are represented during game play. The United States, Canada, France, Russia, Indonesia and Vietnam will all be represented during this week’s competition.
This is the third edition of International Week with the previous two editions of International Week bringing in very high ratings. This week’s show features six poker pros, four of whom have WSOP Bracelets, one who was in the last November Nine and one who plays high stakes cash games on a regular basis.
Allen Cunningham will play for the US and has won five bracelets, David Benyamine, a WSOP bracelet winner and WPT winner will represent France while John Juanda, the WSOPE champion and WSOP four time bracelet winners will represent Indonesia.
Brad Booth, the high stakes regular will represent Canada while John Pham who has two bracelets will represent Vietnam. Lastly Ivan Demidov, who made the November Nine, will represent Russia.
Poker After Dark can be seen every weeknight on NBC at 2:05 am and on Saturdays at 1 am, after Saturday Night Live.
