Poker After Dark Releases Season 3 Schedule
The show's premise will still focus around the 6-handed format, with each player battling it out for the winner-take-all $120k payday per show. The $20k buy-in makes for very interesting poker, and the unique cash game/sit and go setup makes for excellent television.
Many of the show's past poker professional will be making their return to the Poker After Dark green felt, as well as many newcomers. People like Scotty Nguyen, Hoyt Corkins, Beth Shak, and John-Robert Ballande will all be making their debuts during this upcoming 3rd season. Phil Hellmuth, Jennifer Harman, Johnny Chan, and a host of other high-stakes veterans of the show will also be coming back to mix it up for the 6-figure prizes.
This year's telecasts will be showcasing a variety of different matches as well. Events like "Hecklers Week" will feature 6 of the game's best trash talking poker players in the world, and "Champions Week" will display a table filled only with past WSOP Main Event Champions. These events and more will really make the show something to tune into this season.
