Poker Channel Announces New Distribution Agreements
The Poker Channel is Europe’s largest gaming network on television and they recently announced new distribution agreements in Europe which will give more people the opportunity to view their station as well as offering live horseracing coverage.
Cyprus and Croatia will now be offering The Poker Channel on CableNet and Bnet respectively. The Channel will soon be available in Germany on Kabelkiosk, Portugal on Clix and Poland on UPC. Seventeen million more cable and satellite homes will now be able to view the Channel due to the new agreements.
Live horseracing coverage will also be available on The Poker Channel in all markets except Ireland and the UK. The coverage will last for one hour each evening with footage airing from leading United States racetracks. The coverage will focus on betting tips, studio commentary and form guides.
Managing Director for The Poker Channel, Chris White commented on the new agreements stating: “We’re delighted to announce these new distribution agreements as we increase our investment in new programming.”
