Rapper 50 Cent to Appear in Poker Movie

Reports have been surfacing that several new poker movies are presently being filmed or are about to film. One movie is set to star rapper 50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis Jackson. The new film’s main focus is the world of professional poker and will also star other famous actors.

It has been reported that Oscar winner Benicio Del Toro will be starring in the film as well, along with Puerto Rican musicians Wisin and Yandel. David Maldonado is set to direct the new poker film and the filming will take place in Puerto Rico.

News of this film comes soon after rumors have surfaced that the famous poker movie Rounders will be filming a sequel. It has been confirmed that the original scriptwriter of Rounders, David Levien, has confirmed that he and writing partner Brian Koppleman have begun throwing ideas around for Rounders 2.

It will be very interesting to see how many movies actually make it to the theaters. If Rounders 2 is created I would wager to say that it will be the most successful out of all the movies that may be made about the game of poker due to the popularity of the first movie and what it did for poker.
