2008 Ladbrokes Killarney Irish Poker Festival

Ladbrokes Poker is the proud sponsor of the 2008 Ladbrokes Killarney Irish Poker Festival, this is to be a three day festival that will start on October 2nd and finish up on October 5th with the €250,000 guaranteed Main Event.  The Irish Poker Festival will he held at the Irish National Events centre in Killarney, Co Kerry, Ireland.

The festival is going to host two side tournaments some STT's and cash games.  Players will also get exclusive access to Ladbrokes hospitality facilities where you find a betting office as well as a games room that has Snooker, Pool, Darts and other fun games to help players take a load off and relax between your poker games.

The €250,000 guaranteed €500 + €50 Main Event will kick off on October 3rd and play for three days ending on October 5th with a winner.  Players will get 15,000 starting stacks with one hour blinds in this European ranking event.

If you want to be a part of the action you have ways to get there without having to shell out big bucks.  Players can qualify online to win a $1,250 dollar Ladbrokes Irish Festival package.  Every Monday until September 29th at 19:30GMT there will be a $137.50 dollar Weekly final with one package awarded for every $1,250 dollars in the prize pool.

The $1,250 dollar Ladbrokes Irish Festival Package includes your €550 buyin for the Main Event, two nights accommodation for you and a guest at the Gleneagle Hotel for October 3rd and 4th.

Ladbrokses is also running satellites for the Irish Poker Festival and buy in's start at just $5 dollars.  There are also $33 dollar Daily Finals that are held from Tuesday through Sunday at 19:30GMT that will award players seats into the Weekly Final.
