Ante Up For Africa Celebrity List of Players Grows

Ante Up For Africa, a charity poker tournament created by Don Cheadle and Annie Duke will be taking place at this year’s WSOP. The charity poker tournament benefits those who live in the Darfur region of Africa. This is the third Ante Up For Africa tournament to take place and this event has a growing list of celebrity players.

Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, Mekhi Phifer and Brad Garret have been confirmed on the list as well as poker pro Phil Hellmuth. The tournament is scheduled for July 2nd at the Rio beginning at 2pm. the tournament will have an entry fee of $5,000 and will feature the game of No Limit Hold’em.

Others confirmed to participate Charles Barkley, Danny Masterson, Hank Azaria, Cedric the Entertainer, Herschel Walker, Jason Alexander, Kenny Smith, Marlon Wayans, Cheryl Hines, Shawn Marion, Jason Kidd, Sarah Silverman, Tia Carrere, Reggie Miller, Montel Williams and Rob Schneider. Poker pros confirmed are Andy Bloch, Tiffany Michelle, Erik Seidel and Howard Lederer.
