Argentina Stop Added to LAPT
Argentina will be the final stop on this season’s PokerStars Latin American Poker tour as PokerStars recently announced the addition of the stop on the tour. The Mar del Plata will host the event on April 16th through the 19th which will have a $5,200 buy-in.
The LAPT stated that the event will be able to hold up to six hundred players and the best players in Latin America as well as Europe and the United States. The PokerStars team will also be trying their hand at the competition.
The second season of the LAPT began in November in Costa Rica with Ryan Fee taking home the first place prize. Most recently at the Chile stop Fabian Ortiz became the first Latin American player to win an LAPT event.
Before the Argentina stop the LAPT will be stopping in Punta del Este, Uruguay on March 18th through the 20th. The buy-in for this tournament is $3,700. This event as well as the Argentina event will be exciting and it will be interesting to see who is able to capture the first place prize.
