Avalanche Tournament Back on Everest Poker Website

Everest Poker decided to bring back their Avalanche tournament for 2008. The tournament was a success last year and this year the website has made the tournament even better. The tournament will still have a guaranteed $1 million but with improvements to the overall structure of the event.

"We listened to our player feedback, and created an even better tournament for 2008," said Everest Poker on its site. "The guarantee will still be $1,000,000, but with an improved qualification structure, we'll give a better chance for more players to qualify."

This year instead of having monthly qualifier satellites there will be weekly qualifiers. This will allow more chances for players to qualify. Daily satellites will take place at different times with a buy-in of $11 plus $1. These satellites will move players closer to the big prize by entering them into the $100 plus $9 daily satellite and into the weekly qualifier.

There will also be re-buy satellites that will run daily and players will move on to the weekly qualifiers. The final ten will be flown in to play at the final table in a live setting. They will each be allowed to bring one guest.
