Bodog Poker Open II Starts in October

Bodog Poker is going to be offering up their largest ever guaranteed prize pool in history for their Bodog Poker Open II. The Main Event is going to start on October 5th at 4pm EST. 

The first ever Bodog Poker Open made it's debut in March, 2008 and saw 596 players compete. The winner of that event, Shawn "phatcat" Luman got $76,000 dollars for his first place finish.

Bodog Poker is going to offer the biggest guaranteed prize pool in the site’s history for the Bodog Poker Open II (BPO.  The buy-in for the main event is $500 dollars and there is a guaranteed prize of $300,000 dollars up for grabs.

If you don't have $500 dollars lying around you can play in satellites starting as low as 50 Bodog Poker Points to win your seat at the Main Event.  The qualifiers can be found by opening the Bodog client, clicking on “Scheduled Tournaments,” and selecting the BPO tab.
