Brian Hawkins Wins Bluff Online Poker Challenge
Lock Poker played host to the Bluff Online Poker Challenge this past month as twenty five online poker players competed to see who could earn the biggest bankroll from just $200. Several big name players were competing but it was Brian Hawkins who was able to outplay the field and build the biggest bankroll.
Brian Hawkins competed mostly at heads up sit & gos and changed his $200 to $25,066.74. This is a good amount of money to earn especially in a month. Brian’s closest competition was Garrett Beckman who only earned $4,811.96.
Hawkins decided to go strong when the competition began by playing in $25 heads up sit & gos and then began playing $1,000 buy-in tournaments. Hawkins is not even twenty one yet and already has seen great success online. His prize for the Bluff Online Poker Challenge is to be on the cover of Bluff Magazine and he will be the youngest person ever to be on the cover.
Hawkins played better than online regulars Shaun “shaundeeb, Deeb, Adam Jundien, Brandon Cantu, Brett “Gank” Jungblut, Eric “Rizen” Lynch and David “The Maven” Chicotsky. Eric Morris the publisher of BLUFF Magazine commented on Hawkins win: “Brian’s performance in the challenge was phenomenal. He proved himself to be a world class player and we’re going to be proud to feature him on the cover of an upcoming issue. The Challenge itself was an overwhelming success and we’d like to thank our partners at Lock Poker for helping make this happen.”
