British Masters Bristol Event Won by John Gardner
The final leg of the British Masters Poker Tour recently concluded and it was John Gardner who came up with the win. This year’s attendance of the British Masters Poker Tour has not seen the numbers of players as they would like but this event saw a good number of players competing.
150 players registered for the £500 main event which created a prize pool of £76,000. The Harbourside Casino hosted the event, which was the sixth and final stop of the tour. The final table included female poker pro India Storrar and defending champion Neil Blatchly.
Although John Gardner won the event, it was Richard Lewis who walked away with the largest prize. A deal was made in three way play which led to Lewis winning the most money. The deal resulted in the players competing for the trophy. The tour will now host a single table tournament which will see the former champions, a league winner and an online winner battle for a £10,000 sponsorship package.
