Caribbean Poker Classic Underway

The Caribbean Poker Classic Main Event begins today at St. Kitts. Super satellite tournaments and qualifiers kicked off during the first portion of the week.

Last years main event brought one hundred and fifty-five entrants and a decent sized prize pool of $902,100.

There have been online qualifiers to this event reaching all corners of the globe along with the poker players’ who have paid the buy-in of $6,000 to play in the Caribbean Poker Classic Main Event at St Kitts for what is expected to be a six-figure prize for the entrants who make it to the final table and the champion of this years event.

The winner of the 2007 Caribbean Poker Classic won his seat at a $20 satellite. For his $20 investment, the winner walked away from the main event final table with $135,000.
