Celebrities Join Forces to raise Money for the Blind
Entertainment Tonight Online recently reported that several celebrities will be banning together to play poker in the name of charity. The Celebs will be competing at the felt to raise money for the Therapeutic Living Centers for the Blind (TLC).
The event is set to take place on January 17th and is called All-In To Win. It will take place at the Commerce Casino in California. This location is well known with poker players as it is where the WPT L.A. Poker Classic takes place.
Several celebrities are interested in playing including Adam Baldwin, Daniel Baldwin, Judd Nelson and Chris McDonald. Brad Garrett has also showed interest in playing in the tournament. Garrett has been seen regularly competing in the WSOP.
The winner of the event will win $2,500 and a seat to the WPT Celebrity Invitational event. Those wanting to participate in the tournament can pay the $200 buy-in and also can purchase re-buys for $200.
The proceeds will benefit small children that are blind and have developmental disabilities. The TLC was founded thirty years ago and provides care services for those who have developmental disabilities and blindness.
