Charity Poker Tournament Benefits Happy House
December 15th will see a tournament that will benefit the Happy House that was founded by Nancy Cartwright and Rose Gross.
Gross an author and producer of documentaries, along with Cartwright feel it is their mission to aid communities in becoming after and building better family structures.
The charity poker tournament will be held to raise funds to distribute booklets that they have produced named The Way to Happiness; they are hoping to distribute one million copies.
This pamphlet is comprised of 21 chapters that is a guide to happy living and after the benefit tournament will be mailed out to residents of the San Fernando Valley. According to Cartwright and Goss the pamphlet is an easy read that gives the reader the analogy treat others as you would have them treat you, as well as treat your family, your parents and yourself good.
This tournament unlike other will be held at the Cartwright home on December 15th and will also include a barbecue.
The buy-in for the tournament is $75 and for spectators there is a $25 fee and there are also $5 tickets for poker players and spectators to bring their children, which the proceeds will go to benefit the Happy House Organization.
